Set within the walls of one of Plymouth's oldest buildings The Spice Box will take you on a journey from the magnitude of global exploration to the intimacy of the family kitchen.
Immerse yourself in the sounds, smells and tastes of the past and discover how the past is really the present. Barbican Theatre will transport you on a journey through time - cut up, split up, squared and spiced!
The Spice Box is a Barbican Theatre production created in partnership with Plymouth City Council's Arts and Heritage Service. The project is supported by the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund, Arts Council England and Plymouth Culture.
