Moishe's Bagel

A welcome return to PFT for another electrifying evening of music from Scotland - and beyond!

Moishe’s Bagel began in 2003, with a lucky accident that brought together an Edinburgh-based Chilean tango singer and four like-minded musicians. A shared love of klezmer, jazz and latin music soon saw them onstage at Henry’s Cellar Bar in Edinburgh, with a few tunes - and a lot of enthusiasm!

Since then, the band has regularly toured the UK, Scotland, Ireland and the Czech Republic, notching up sell-out gigs at the Jazz Cafe, Sage Gateshead, St George’s Bristol, Edinburgh Queen’s Hall and many more.

Along the way, they have managed to record four CDs, earning them a place in the Sunday Telegraph’s Top 10 World Music albums and a Songlines Top of the World title.
