'Write for your Region' - Workshop & Show Ticket

Assembled Junk are offering you the chance to take part in this 3 hour workshop in exploring regional voice in writing.

Creative writing students are invited to find their own individual voice in this workshop, which will include:

- Fun, inventive and productive writing games to help students explore the limitless possibilities available in searching for their own particular style.

- Tasks to explore how the participants feel about where they hail from, and how this might inspire their future work.

- Ideas generation exercises to stimulate the writers’ individual thought processes.

- Help and advice for writers searching for their own creative avenues.

- Discussions around the importance of the regional voice and how it can be utilized to great artistic effect.

Joshua Val Martin has delivered projects at the Royal Exchange and SOHO Theatres. Acclaim for previous work includes a Manchester in Fringe Theatre Award and an EdFringe Review Pick-of-the-Fringe.
