Treasure Island

Stephen Kingsbury’s musical play is brought to life by the young cast of Holy Redeemer School. Based on the well-known book by Robert Louis Stevenson, the pupils will transport you to the deck of the Hispaniola and then on to Skull Island. This light hearted take on the story finds the bumbling Squire Trelawny as captain of the ship’s motley crew, a mean Long John Silver, Ben Gunn who seems to be very similar to Noel Coward, some fierce buccaneers and, of course, young Jim Hawkins who saves the day. This salt-encrusted show, directed by Oliver Lister, is full of wonderful songs and humour. These shows are a Private Hire organised by Holy Redeemer Catholic Primary School.
