Tortoise And The Hare
The classic Aesop fable is brought to life on the big screen in this fun and colourful ballet created especially for young children and pre-schoolers. The ballet features beautiful animations, and is preceded by an introduction to the story from BBC presenter Anita Rani who will also host a fun ‘learn the dance moves’ session with the characters.
This is the first in a series of three bite-sized ballets for children at Number 8. Originally shown on CBeebies the ballets were so popular they’ve been given a big screen outing. They are the perfect way to introduce toddlers and young children to the beauty of ballet and the shared experience and atmosphere of a trip to the theatre.
