P.O.D.S. is very excited to be the first south Wales group to present this hilarious stage version of the popular BBC comedy, 'Keeping Up Appearances' it tells the story of Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced 'Boo-quay') and her ever more desperate attempts to maintain standards, and her own sense of dignity, in the face of chaos and confusion.

Not helped by her very down to earth family, and a wayward father who is still fighting the Second World War in his gasmask and long johns!

This is a follow-up to the TV show rather than an adaptation of TV episodes, which means that the story is all new! But many of your favorite characters are present and correct; down to earth sister Daisy and her lay-about philosophizing husband Onslow, short-skirted sexpot sister Rose, and beleaguered neighbors Elizabeth and Emmet.

Will Emmet keep his sanity when Hyacinth bulldozes her way into his amateur drama group?
Will Rose get her (latest) man)?

Will Hyacinth manage to keep her family out of sight from influential Mrs. Debden? What will happen if daddy turns up in the midst of it all?
