BRIGHT WORKS are a consummate non-pop quartet from Oxford playing the finest upbeat rowdy rousing tunes. They are regularly gigging various Oxford and East London venues and delighting the heck out of the head and neck.
ROBOT SWANS are a fun little pop band who write somewhat catchy songs that sound happier than they are. They combine boy/girl vocals, warm guitar and twinkly electronic sounds, sometimes from homemade synthesisers. They designed their own drum machine so they wouldn't need a drummer.
In the words of DIY Magazine, "It's pretty criminal not to see SUPER SQUARECLOUD at the top of everyone's agendas by this point. The quick-witted pop these four sport is up there with Deerhoof and Micachu in balancing sharp songwriting with a bright-eyed sense of fun. New song 'Godot' is a collision of complexities, all working together to form an instant pop fix."
