Concertmaster Natalia Lomeiko takes centre stage in Tchaikovsky's sumptuous Violin Concerto. The Orchestra will also perform one of the most magnificent of 20th century orchestral works: Shostakovich's profoundly moving and politically-charged Fifth Symphony.There will then follow the world premiere of a work by Christopher Garrard.
