Oxford University Orchestra is the flagship ensemble of the Oxford University Music Society, selecting the very best instrumentalists that the University has to offer and combining them with a professional guest conductor.

In Trinity 2020, OUO will be joined by John Warner (biography) as guest conductor to showcase the programme that the orchestra will take on tour to Bonn, Germany as part of the Beethoven 250th anniversary festival. John is an OUO percussion alumnus and we are excited to have him back in front of the orchestra. Beethoven's Egmont Overture will be on the programme along with Dvoak's Othello and Tchaikovsky's 5th Symphony. The concert will be performed in the historic Sheldonian Theatre in the heart of Oxford on Saturday 23rd May 2020 at 8pm.

The Orchestra thoroughly enjoys putting on its performances and hopes to do so for many years to come. Unfortunately, ticket money alone cannot support all the costs of the Orchestra and we are very grateful to the Friends of OUO for their generous donations. If you would be interested in becoming a Friend of OUO please contact Sarah Jenkinson (Friends' Secretary ouofriends@oums.org).
Visit ouo.oums.org/ to learn more about the Orchestra or email ouotickets@oums.org with queries.
