Oxford Playhouse brings Cerrie Burnell’s touching story to life, in a brand new Christmas show for little ones.

Mia has come to live with her Grandma, far away from where she was born. It isn’t at all like her old life in the city, and at first she feels very different from the new children she sees. But when she watches the snow falling around her one night, Mia realises that she is just like one of the snowflakes – unique and perfect in her own way.

Cerrie Burnell is a well-loved CBeebies presenter, best-selling children’s author and disabilities campaigner. She’s written the popular Harper series as well as plays, including Winged and The Magical Playroom, and this is the first time one of her books has been adapted for the stage.
