Mozart Concert
Oxford Orpheus's 2018 Concert on 17th February features two great unfinished masterpieces by Mozart: the Mass in C minor, originally intended as a grand celebratory mass for Mozart’s wedding to Constanze Weber; and the Requiem which - given the mysterious circumstances in which it was commissioned and the composer’s mental state and rapidly declining health - came to regard as his own memorial.
Musical Director is the inspirational conductor Robert Dean; with the Oxford Orpheus Singers and Orchestra, and four wonderful young soloists.
