The Flint Street Nativity

Mizzis Horrocks’ class of seven year olds is about to perform their nativity play at Flint Street Junior School for the proud mums and dads – and the occasional social worker. Squabbles arise: Gabriel wants to play Mary, Herod won’t stop waving to his mum and dad and the subversive Innkeeper is determined to liven up the traditional script. And then the stick insect escapes…

An uplifting, fast-paced comedy from the writer of Calendar Girls. Performed entirely by adults.

‘Tim Firth’s study of infant power-politics is less a cute, end-of-term entertainment than a kindergarten version of The Godfather, complete with seething vendettas, emotional blackmail and severed heads.’ – The Guardian

BMH are an award-winning theatre company based in Oxfordshire. They return to the Old Fire Station after 2012?s sell-out success, The Hound of the Baskervilles.
