The Mountain Will Fall Tour
Experimental hip hop luminary DJ Shadow aka Josh Davis has announced a UK headline tour in October 2017, following a run of festival appearances across the globe. The San Francisco-based producer will kick things off at Sonar Festival’s Hong Kong edition before taking in Coachella festival, Sonar in Barcelona, Outlook, Bestival and much more.
These dates come off the back of a stellar year for DJ Shadow, with the summer 2016 release of his critically acclaimed studio album The Mountain Will Fall – his first release in five years – drawing praise from all corners, from the Guardian who called the record 'impressive in its inventiveness' to MOJO who claimed 'Shadow is back in the frame' and AV Club who hailed it as 'DJ Shadow’s best work since his early-aughts heyday'.
