The Independent Voice - Performance And Publishing

The Yard hosts a mini-festival of publishing and independent thought including performances, book stalls, workshops and talks featuring:

Performance: Fifth Runway Radio Show with Paul Carr and Jenna Collins

Performance: Sarah Jones
As part of the Yard performances, Sarah will premier an entirely new theatrical work drawing on theatrical and linguistic history as well as legacies of minimalism.

Performance: The Young Women's Music Project (YWMP)
Founded in 1999 by the late Kate Garrett, the project continues to fulfill Garrett's aim to empower young females with skills and confidence through music. This is the first time that they have performed at Modern Art Oxford.

Pop-up Book Stall: Peirene Press
Peirene Press is an award-winning boutique publishing house based in North London. They specialise in contemporary European novellas, each year publishing a new series – three books that form a cluster in terms of style and/or content.
