Celebrating Women Composers
The Arcadian Singers, under Jacob Ewens, present a concert of stunning music by Women composers. The programme includes choral music by Margaret Rizza, Cecelia McDowall, Ethel Smyth and Fanny Hensel-Mendellsohn, as well as songs by Rebecca Clarke to be performed by soprano Helena Moore.
In addition to this, the choir will perform the winning entry to their composition competition for women aged 18 to 25.
They hope you will join a superb evening of little-heard music in the gorgeous surroundings of Exeter College Chapel.
Profits from the concert will be donated to Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
