Schola Cantorum Of Oxford

Schola Cantorum of Oxford will be performing their March concert as part of the Christ Church Music Society's concert series.

The evening's concert will consist of a series of Lenten Lamentations culminating in a performance of James MacMillan's dramatic setting of the Tenebrae Responsories. The programme will also feature Argentinean composer Alberto Ginastera’s arresting setting of the Lamentations, one of his very few choral pieces, and a fitting tribute to the composer 100 years after his birth.
