Jo Blake Cave, Jo Bell, Gregg Cave, Nick Ellison

Set on the very banks of the River Nene itself, with the performers on a floating stage, this magical evening tells the story of the river as it journeys to the sea.

Performed by storyteller Jo Blake Cave and poet Jo Bell (UK Canal Laureate), foxes, kingfishers, narrowboaters and anglers speak for the river in a mesmerising mixture of story and poem, mythology and history.

They are joined by musical duo Gregg Cave (guitar/vocals) and Nick Ellison (fiddle) who will perform a selection of original and traditional material drawn from or inspired by Northamptonshire.

Bring low-backed chairs or rugs - no seating provided. There will be a selection of food and drink available from the Tap & Kitchen.

Performance ends at approximately 9pm
