James Hornsby

James Hornsby is a veteran of well over one-hundred theatrical performances. In a career spanning thirty-five years he has worked with some of the country's leading playwrights including Sir Alan Ayckbourn, Dame Kay Mellor, Richard Cameron and of course, for many years with John Godber at the renowned Hull-Truck Theatre Company.

After the success of last years sold-out performance of Bram Stokers Dracula at Otley Courthouse,and once again in association with The Ilkley Literature Festival, James presents one of Charles Dickens best loved novels Great Expectations.

Performed once again as a 'one-man show' this versatile actor will vividly portray a cast of wonderful characters including: Abel Magwitch, The Gargerys, Uncle Pumblechook, Estella, Herbert Pocket, Miss Havisham and of course, Pip.
