Anna Phoebe, Nicolas Rizzi

Papillon is the new project by Anna Phoebe and Nicolas Rizzi. It combines raw Eastern inspired violin and guitar melodies set within cinematic soundscapes.

Violinist and composer Anna Phoebe has been thrilling audiences all over the world with her stunning live performances. Dazzling and charismatic, she has toured with artists and bands including Jon Lord, Jethro Tull, Roxy Music, Oi Va Voi, and the Trans Siberian Orchestra, as well as a solo artist with her own band. Even if you have not heard her name you are likely to have heard her music. Anna has played violin and viola on several BBC soundtracks for various composers including Peaky Blinders and most recently the BBC series War and Peace.

Together with Nicolas Rizzi, Papillion compose, produce and record their own material as well as write for film. Previous performances include main support for Bob Dylan at the Rock Legends Festival in Poland and a tour of UK cathedrals including Winchester Cathedral and Liverpool Anglican.
