Hermon Jazz

Please note: Info provided by the Event Organiser

The Hermon Jazz spring programme gets off to a well-impressive start with the Clark Tracey Quintet, a group that acts as a springboard and showcase for exceptionally talented young Jazz musicians who make their way onto the UK-scene. The group has recently recorded its debut CD entitled ;'No Doubt' and has already received critical acclaim for its live appearances at Ronnie Scotts Club, Swanage Jazz Festival and the South Coast Jazz Festival.

The young players are led by distinguished drummer Clark Tracey, who has been at the forefront of British jazz for over 40 years, starting his own career as professional, performing musician in 1978 at the tender age of 17 when joining the bands of his father, iconic pianist Stan Tracey CBE. This concert will be a delightful treat for anybody who appreciates an evening of music routed in British Jazz traditions laced with the spirit of youthful exploration!
