“The revolutionary potential of theatre at its best and most direct” Lyn Gardner, Guardian

The hit show returns to Ormskirk for one night only.

Truth to Power Café combines memoir, image, poetry, music and live and spontaneous testimony from participants speaking truth to power in response to the question ‘Who has power over you and what do you want to say to them?’.

Speaking truth to power has its roots in the anti-war movement and is a non-violent means of conflict resolution. Truth to Power Café has been developed with Harold Pinter Archive at British Library; Theatre in the Mill, Bradford; Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Australia; and Leeuwarden-Friesland European Capital of Culture in The Netherlands.

Created by Jeremy Goldstein; Verse by Henry Woolf; Directed by Jen Heyes; Photography by Sarah Hickson, Banners by Ed Hall, Music by David Bowie arranged by Sven Ratzke
