A double bill of dance from award winning choreographer and dancer Aakash Odedra. Murmur 2.0 tackles the issue of dyslexia from his own experience, through dance and technology. A combination of movement, footwork and gestures combine with visual technology developed by Arts Electronica Futurelab (Linz, Austria) to enhance the audience’s experience. The second half of the performance is one of scarification and tattoos. Inked created by Laurence Olivier Award winner Damien Jalet sees the body become a place of transformation, an envelope marked, folded and metamorphosed by its journey through a ritualized space. Immerse yourself in an evening of dance, exploring the body’s limits and powers.
