Mike Peters' Love Hope Strength Big Night In

As part of a worldwide day of action organised by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) to reduce the global impact of cancer, Mike Peters of legendary Welsh rock band The Alarm’s Love Hope Strength Foundation (LHS) has announced their Love Hope Strength Big Night In, an evening of entertainment on February 4th, World Cancer Day.

This hour long special of live & recorded musical performances plus inspirational interviews will premiere in the UK at 9pm GMT on February 4th 2021. The Alarm frontman Mike Peters and some very special guests will celebrate progress made in cancer control whilst shining a spotlight on urgent challenges that need to be overcome in the global fight against cancer. Mike himself is a cancer survivor.

As well as tuning in to the ‘Love Hope Strength Big Night In’ via www.lovehopestrength.org, fans can also pledge support for World Cancer Day by placing a bid on unique rock’n’roll memorabilia which has generously been donated by Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols, Billy Idol, Duff McKagan of Guns & Roses and other celebrated musicians for the Love Hope Strength World Cancer Day Online Auction. The Love Hope Strength World Cancer Day Online Auction will commence on Friday 15th January and close on Saturday 5th February. All funds raised through the Love Hope Strength Big Night In and associated activities will support cancer prevention and cancer care projects for underprivileged communities across the globe.
