In The Footsteps Of Tolkien In Oxford
This event has been and gone.
This event continues the story of one of the most important 20th century writers and a leading figure in fantasy literature - J.R.R. Tolkien.
It is a follow-up to the event "In The Footsteps of Tolkien in Birmingham", but can be enjoyed even if you have not yet joined the Birmingham event.
Join us to continue our discovery of the locations where Tolkien lived, worked and was inspired. We will see the Oxford colleges where Tolkien studied, worked and taught, the houses where he and his family lived in and around the city, and the places he spent time with friends and colleagues. We will also stop in at other locations that were important in the writer's life, see more of the English countryside he loved so much and pay our respects at his final resting place.
A must for all Tolkien fans wherever they are.
This is a virtual event in the format of an illustrated talk on Zoom. You will be sent a link to join the event by e-mail.
If you will be unable to join the event live due to time differences or unforeseen circumstances, please let us know by email and we can send you a private link to a recording, which will be available for 72 hours after the live event.
Please note: All live stream events are subject to change. Not all events listed are live performances by the artist - they also include archived concerts, DJ sets, masterclasses, Q&As and more.
