A one day intimate encounter with Blowers in three 60 minute films.

In the morning, afternoon and evening sessions of this day’s play, Henry will tell tall tales and share some treasured memorabilia and photographs from his early days and on through his glittering career. Lunch in Jamaica with Ian Fleming (and his connection to Bond villain Blofeld), being serenaded by Noel Coward, his extraordinary trek from London to Bombay by Rolls and Jägerbombers with Vaughny, Tuffers and Warne are all wonderful vignettes from Henry’s rich, colourful and larger-than-life life! Blowers also lifts the lid on the foibles of fellow commentators, sharing some hysterical moments from over 40 years in the box and on tour with England.

One of Henry’s greatest gifts has been to engage both the cricket connoisseur and those who know nothing about the game through his enchanting personality, warmth and humour. These programmes will allow the viewer a very privileged and personal audience with Henry in the comfort of his charming Norfolk country cottage and really are the ultimate in safe and socially distanced shows!

Please note: All live stream events are subject to change. Not all events listed are live performances by the artist - they also include archived concerts, DJ sets, masterclasses, Q&As and more.

Henry Blofeld

Henry Blofeld appearing at this event

The bubbly, boisterous world of Blowers knows no full stops. He is best known as a cricket commentator on BBC Radio 4's Test Match Special and BBC Radio 5 Live. He even occasionally turns up on Channel 4's 'Countdown' programme and is an amusing after dinner speaker. His idiosyncratic form of commentary is unique. His one-man shows have sold out across the UK, including the Royal Albert Hall. His stories about Ian Fleming, Noel Coward, Clive Dunn and others have brought the house down.
