Saddleworth Musical Society

Join the choir and orchestra for Saddleworth Musical Society's annual spring concert, which this year will include a performance of Howard Goodall's 'Eternal Light' requiem in the first half, with the second half containing excerpts from famous operas and operettas including: The Merry Widow, Carmen, Rigoletto, La Traviata, Easter Hymn and The Bridal Chorus, all featuring SMS soloists, choir and orchestra.

Howard Goodall is an award winning English composer of musicals, choral music and music for television, almost everyone will know at least one of his popular TV themes for Blackadder, Mr Bean, Red Dwarf, The Catherine Tate Show, Q.I. or The Vicar of Dibley.
