Theatre Gu Leòr and WHYTE present
In association with Tron Theatre

Dar a thig an t-uisge gu grad, dè chailleas sinn?
When the water comes suddenly, what do we lose?

’S e gairm‐chatha a th’ ann am MAIM, a’ toirt guth do dhorran an ath ghinealaich agus cho cudromach ‘s a tha an ceangal eadar tìr agus cànan dhaibh ‐ Co‐obrachadh sònraichte eadar Theatre Gu Leòr agus an còmhlan WHYTE, le ceòl beò, dannsa, bàrdachd agus bhideo.

MAIM, meaning panic in Gàidhlig, is a call to action, giving voice to the frustrations of the next generation who care deeply about the crisis facing their land and language.

This unique collaboration between Theatre Gu Leòr and the award-winning Gaelic electronica duo Whyte was inspired by exquisite tracks from their latest album, Tairm, and will feature live music, dance, spoken word and video.

This show includes surtitles and is fully accessible to non-Gaelic speakers,  with integrated BSL in every performance.

★★★★★ “Beautifully written and powerfully performed…A truly unforgettable performance.” – The Skinny, on Theatre Gu Leòr’s Scotties

★★★★ “A brooding hybrid of theatrical forms…which moves between ceilidh and lament” – The Herald, on Theatre Gu Leòr’s Scotties

★★★★ “A show to remember, and an important staging-post in Scotland’s long journey towards greater knowledge of itself, through the stories it tells.” – The Scotsman, on Theatre Gu Leòr’s Scotties
