To celebrate the 800th anniversary of the document considered to be bedrock of our democracy we are proud to host a light hearted lecture by Professor Nigel Saul, Professor of Medieval History at the University of London, and a member of the Magna Carta 800 Committee. Nigel will cover how the Magna Carta came about, why it matters, how it is connected to the origins of Parliament and how it affects us today.
