The Pearson siblings, dubbed the British Black Royal Family of Pop, and Britain’s answer to the Jackson Five by the media, burst onto the scene in 1983 and were managed by their father, Buster Pearson. After performing a sizzling rendition of a song named 'Problematic' for the BBC’s Pebble Mill at one Show the group signed with a major record label TENT/RCA and released their 1985 debut album 'Luxury Of Life' and the rest is, as they say, a phenomenal pop history. Renowned for their dynamic sound and fabulous dance routines they rocked the British and US Pop Charts in the 80s and became a great inspiration to many young people worldwide. Five Star were the youngest British group to have a number 1 album and the first group to achieve 7 consecutive hit singles from one album in the UK. They also broke Michael Jackson’s record of becoming the youngest group ever to top the British charts and the first Black group to top the UK charts in 1987.

The Doctor (Doctor And The Medics)
Doctor and the Medics were created 21 years ago by the Doctor, The Reverend Clive Thomas Jackson. During that time they have had a very colourful and successful career as both recording Artists and performers. Undoubtedly the band has been best known for their 2.4 million selling No 1 hit in 18 countries Spirit in the Sky. However they have always been recognised as a great live act, in 1985 the NME referred to them as "THE live band of the year." in 1999 the Doctor put together the present line-up and they have developed a great live show that just has to be seen to be believed with a unique and sensationally flamboyant act.

Hazell established a formidable reputation as "queen of the British clubs" during the '80s, scoring a succession of massive club and dance hits which crossed successfully into the mainstream charts. She's probably best known for the huge hit 'Searchin' (I Gotta Find A Man)', which sailed in to the UK Top 40 singles chart at number 6 and remained in the top 75 for 15 weeks in 1984.

Jimmy Cricket is without doubt a 1980s comedy icon. With his trademark wellington boots (on the wrong feet), his famous letters from his Mammy and his catchphrases of 'come closer' and 'there's more', he holds the hearts of all those that were original fans of his television and radio shows. Jimmy has lost none of his talent or energy and his theatre shows are as hilarious as ever, winning him new fans wherever he performs. Jimmy remains one of the few completely family friendly comedians currently on tour and has great pride in being regaled as having a truly clean act.
