Christmas at Wollaton

Light up Christmas at Wollaton Hall as the park is transformed into an enchanting light spectacle new for 2020! Experience a trail of discovery through four magical lands, specially designed to fit into the natural landscape of the Hall and Gardens.

Visitors of all ages will be captivated by this brand new, visually stunning multi sensory experience of light, fire and sound. A seasonal classic with a contemporary twist.

Begin your journey in the fairy light-lit entryway where you will meet a host of friends as you make your way to the festive forest to be greeted by the awesome sight of a fiery garden full of beautiful organic sculptures, bursting to life with light and fire.

Travel through the light tunnel to a magical realm awash with colour, a contrasting bold contemporary Christmas colour-scape designed to celebrate the full spectrum of vibrant Christmas colours. Wander through to the romantic, moon-lit glade and allow the heavens envelope you.

Stroll down a carpet made of rainbows, where we will invite you to warm up in the heat and flame zone. Enter the Cameilia House and be bathed in an amber glow and feel the warmth of incandescence. Then on to the formal gardens where fire and flame meet flora and fauna.

As you enter the final section and your journey through Christmas at Wollaton draws to a close you will be met with a dramatic finale designed to take your breath away.

Light Up Christmas is an original new spectacle for Wollaton Hall created by renowned lighting specialists DBN Audile in collaboration with award-winning outdoor arts company Walk the Plank.
