Skierlik
This award-winning play revisits the horror of a racially-motivated shooting spree that devastated the remote settlement of Skierlik in 2008.
Thomas moved away after his wife and three month old daughter were killed in the atrocity: the burden of living alone in the family home was unbearable. But now he’s returning. We ride with him on the long dirt road back to Skierlik. Following Thomas’s thoughts, we too experience what he is about to face back home in his tiny shack: the blue shack that he knows so well, with the padlock on the door.
Please note that latecomers will not be admitted to the performance.
