Winner of the 2015 Hamamatsu International Piano Competition and the 2018 Monte Carlo World Piano Masters Competition, Alexander Gadjiev is in demand internationally, touring throughout Asia and appearing at Europe’s major festivals, including Verbier and Ravenna. In this lunchtime recital he performs a programme that features some of the most challenging Romantic works in the piano repertoire, including two of Chopin’s virtuosic and rhapsodic Ballades.
