Screening of the film by Mike Leigh with guest speaker Roger McKenzie (UNISON Assistant Secretary General). The brutal attack by government forces on a peaceful demonstration in St Peter’s Field Manchester, becomes known as the Peterloo Massacre, the carnage evoking the Battle of Waterloo.
