Welcome to Blakemere's Christmas Woodland experience - your alternative to a Christmas pantomime!

Lively festive characters entertain you from the very start of this fantastic family experience as they welcome you to Blakemere's Christmas Woodland.

Your adventure begins at the magical gates that lead into the enchanted forest. Embark on a brave journey in search of Father Christmas! Furgal the Elf has entrusted you with a secret mission, the most important mission of all. The children’s letters have to be delivered to Father Christmas for sorting, will you help? Along the way you will meet woodland creatures that will assist you with your quest.... and a magical character that might hinder you all. But once you find Vixen the reindeer you will be nearing the end of your journey to deliver the letters to Father Christmas personally.

Once you have said goodbye to Father Christmas and you are out of the woods, the fun continues for you and your family. The children take part in decorating their own tree hanging ornament and each adult receives a present as a memento of the day. The whole family can then ride on the Santa Express land train around Blakemere Village, enjoy a carousel ride with its wonderful lights and traditional music and then meet Snowy the owl and his friends in the Bird of Prey aviaries. All of this fun is included in the price of the ticket and your whole experience will last between two and three hours and we guarantee you will go home with magical memories that will last for years.

When all the activities have been enjoyed why not grab a hot mulled wine, Bratwurst sausage or Bailey's chocolate cup from our large festive marquee.

And don't forget children to write your letters to Father Christmas before you come so you can deliver them to him personally!
