Royal & Derngate is delighted to welcome the BBC Concert Orchestra to the Derngate stage, conducted by Martin Yates, with the great Peter Donohoe as soloist.
The programme will exactly match Yates and Donohoe’s recent recording for the Dutton label and comprise the Philharmonic Concerto and the John Field Fantasy, neither of which have been performed at the festival before and the 7th Symphony which is without doubt a great masterpiece.
