The composers featured in this concert, including Gershwin, Prokofiev, Bernstein and Stravinsky, were inspired by the two great cities of Paris and New York and are among the most celebrated of the 20th century.
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s Principal Associate Conductor, Alexander Shelley, leads this programme that balances driving intensity with the jazz influences for which these cities are known.
