Northampton Oktoberfest, the first ever German beer festival at Royal & Derngate.

Oktoberfest, traditionally a celebration of the ‘gathering of the harvest’, has been one of the key annual celebrations on the Munich calendar for 200 years. Enjoy our version of the festival, which will include freshly tapped, ice cold German beer served in your very own one-litre Stein which you can keep after the event.

The event also features the very best and most popular Oktoberfest specialties including authentic German bratwurst, strudel, schnitzel and freshly made pretzels, all accompanied by an authentic Oompah band. Come and see the Derngate auditorium transformed as you’ve never seen it before and enjoy Northampton’s very own Oktoberfest!
