Art Themen Quintet

NCJazz Presents an unmissable evening of modern jazz in the intimate setting of our Underground Studio, with a relaxed atmosphere and cabaret seating.

Art Themen is a highly original jazz musician and was one of the first to play for NCJazz at Royal & Derngate. He has retired from his other career and can now please jazz audiences even more with his consummate playing of tenor and soprano sax, flute and clarinet. His musical career has involved playing with many jazz greats including Al Haig, Tubby Hayes and Stan Tracey.

With Art tonight are Steve Fishwick playing trumpet, Gareth Williams on piano, Andy Cleyndert on bass and Winston Clifford on drums.
