Santa Specials

Please take extra care to book the correct seats and ticket types for your party. To ensure your party is sat together all seat reservations should begin with the same letter eg, A1, A2, A3, A4 if you select seats with different letter prefixes eg, A9, A10, B4, B5 then you will be sat back to back (Coach A) or in two compartments (Coach B). Your booking should also consist of Child and Adult Tickets, they cannot accept bookings which are for all adult or all child tickets.

There's a slight chill in the air, which can only mean one thing, they are starting to get the museum ready for a very important winter visitor. Bring along all your family and friends to meet Santa Claus and his little helpers who will be visiting Stephenson Railway Museum throughout December 2015, every weekend up to Christmas Day.

You'll also be entertained during your visit by the costumed entertainers and Victorian musicians who will be making merry with joy, music and celebration at Stephenson Railway Museum this Christmas.

Your visit will begin with a Santa Special heritage train ride along the restored railway. Keep your eyes peeled to see if you can be the first to spot Santa waiting to greet the good boys and girls who have come along to meet with him.

Santa will then make a special visit to the train, giving out gifts to all those lucky children on board and he'll also be collecting last minute additions for your list which he will take back to the North Pole so his elves can get working on building those toys.

Once you step off the train, head back into the warm and welcoming museum to receive your complimentary drinks and sweet treats! Don’t forget to stop by the museum during your visit as there are lots of trains to see inside as well.
