In the 1960s Bangor was still a holiday destination of choice for many Belfast people but not all landladies were like the formidable Mrs Liggett!

We see her with a collection of her guests and visitors who include a sweet pair of newly-weds, a henpecked husband, a US sailor, a flirtatious maid and a couple who, against all the odds, simply want to celebrate their silver wedding by having a second honeymoon in the place where they spent their first. Naturally, comic chaos ensues...
