Ben Van der Velde

Ben is currently resident MC for HaHaComedy Clubs in Peterborough and at the brand new St.James Theatre in London. He has also served residencies for Really Lovely Comedy and the Free Beer Show where he has compered for top acts such as Omid Djalili, Reginal.D.Hunter, Sarah Millican, Tom Stade, Brendon Burns, Jim Jeffries and Andrew Maxwell. In 2011 he was named Comedy Cafe New Act of the Year and in 2012 hosted one of the Big Value Comedy Showcase shows at the Edinburgh Festival, as well as hosting the comedy tents at both Bestival and Festival No.6.

Dave Johns

Dave has been a stand up comic since 1989 and is a regular headlining act playing all the major comedy clubs in the UK and comedy festivals worldwide. He has acted on the west end stage with Christian Slater in the stage play One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest and The Odd Couple with Bill Bailey and Alan Davies at the Assembly Theatre, Edinburgh. He is a regular guest improviser with the ‘Comedy Store Players’ and the co-writer of stage production ‘The Shawshank Redemption’.

Louis Burgess

An extremely likeable local comedian from Newton Abbot, Louis oozes innocent honesty. He has you wishing him well as he seemingly trips over his skilfully delivered set. Mothers want to look after him, girls want to take him home and guys want him round for a beer. He awkwardly wears his guitar like a beginner, whilst performing like a winner. Laugh out loud doubled edged songs that keep you anxiously awaiting the next line. Woven between his delicately fumbled parodies is some choice gags delivered with wide eyed endearing charm.

John Robertson

John Robertson is a comedian, writer, games designer and TV presenter from Australia, where he first came to fame when faked a seizure on Australian Idol. He has toured the world with his brilliant and surreal comedy, winning multiple awards along the way. His shows regularly sell out at the Edinburgh festival and the Udderbelly in London. He also co-hosts Videogame Nation on Sky – the UKs only dedicated gaming TV show.
