Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer nominee 2010 Gareth Richards is probably best known for his two years of co-hosting the Sony Gold Award winning Frank Skinner’s Absolute Radio Show. In 2011 he completed a Soho Theatre run of his Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer nominated show, ‘Stand Up Between Song’, and appeared on Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC Three).

In 2010, he was placed in the top 10 of Dave’s Funniest Joke of the Fringe. In 2008 GARETH was nominated for the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Award, and later won a place as part of the Comedy Reserve. Previously he was a finalist in the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year 2007 competition, and a runner-up in the finals of You Must Be Joking and the Amused Moose Laugh-Off.

9.20pm – Tiff Stevenson

A finalist on ITV1’s Show Me the Funny, Tiff Stevenson is a stand-up comedian, actor and writer, known for her honest material and instantly likeable disposition. In 2006, Tiff first hit the Fringe with a lead role in the Eric Bogosian play, Talk Radio, directed by Stewart Lee. The following year she teamed up with her Talk Radio co-star Phil Nichol & brought their London show Old Rope to Edinburgh for the first of a succession of sell-out festival runs.

Her solo Edinburgh stand-up shows, Uncomfortably Numb, Cavewoman, Dictators and Along Came a Spider, have consistently had packed audiences and rave reviews, and in 2012 she won the Mervyn Stutter’s Spirit of the Fringe Award. In 2010 Tiffany starred in Celebrity Autobiography at the Fringe and in the West End alongside David Tennant, Michael Urie, Sally Phillips & Doon Mackichan.
