Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, singer and rapper Raury Tullis taught himself to play guitar at the age of 11, using YouTube videos. He schooled himself on the history of music, from Phil Collins to Kanye West, and describes his own sound as 'genreless'. “People like me grow up listening to everything and the genres begin to blend and disappear,” he claims. What can be confirmed, however, is a firm grasp for adventurous lyrics and a famous fanbase, with the likes of Outkast and Lorde praising him.
