Award-winning comedian, actor and writer Jack Whitehall has announced his biggest UK and Ireland arena tour ever for 2019 with brand new show, Jack Whitehall: Stood Up.
Following two complete sell out arena tours, Jack Whitehall Gets Around in 2014 and Jack Whitehall: At Large in 2017, which premiered on Netflix, Jack Whitehall: Stood Up promises to be the most hilarious yet from one of comedy’s most electric talents. A joy to watch on stage and a comedian who is firmly on the road to becoming a global megastar, this show is not to be missed.
Jack Whitehall said: 'I couldn’t be more thrilled to be going back out on the road. There’s no feeling like standing up on stage in front of an arena full of strangers, and still being able to hear your dad heckle you'.
Jack has firmly established himself as one of the country's most successful young talents. He cut his teeth at the Edinburgh Fringe, taking up four sell out shows over three consecutive years and earning an Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination in the process with his debut show 'Jack Whitehall: Learning Difficulties'. He has gone on to host Live At The Apollo and perform at the Royal Variety Performance, as well as the internationally prestigious Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Canada. In addition, he has been nominated by Variety as one of the '10 Comics to Watch' and in December 2012 won the King of Comedy award at the annual British Comedy Awards. In addition to his stand-up, Jack has also built a successful TV and writing career. As well as his role as JP in the award winning C4 series Fresh Meat, Jack also wrote and starred in the acclaimed BBC3 sitcom Bad Education. He was also a panellist on hit Sky1 show A League Of Their Own and became a chat show co-host with his father Michael for the BBC2 series 'Backchat'. Jack Whitehall was named in Ents24's top 10 biggest selling comedians of 2016.
