We are delighted to announce the fifth annual GNAW Fest. An epic line-up of noisy, heavy, progressive, experimental music. This year's event will be held at Cluny 2 on November 21st. You don't want to miss this!

PSOTY (Pet Slimmers of the Year)
PSOTY are one of the most exciting bands in the UK. Predominantly instrumental, they make challenging, melodic but crushingly heavy music. Like all GNAW bands, PSOTY sidestep easy genre categorisation, making intense hypnotic music with monstrous riffs. If you don't catch them at this year's ArcTanGent festival then be sure to catch them at GNAW. A perfect headliner!

Sunwølf
This band need no introduction. Stand-outs at GNAW 4, we couldn't be happier to have these guys back. Big riffs, interesting melodies, exciting grooves and stunning visuals. If you didn't see them last year you don't want to miss them this time!

Waheela
Waheela are an improvised noise/rock project driven by a shared affection for shrieking feedback, non-denominational riff worship & unexplained sounds.

Clenstch
Bassist and drummer of Leeds-based band Cattle are two parts of this powerful trio. Heavy, noisy, mathy and raw. This is Clenstch's first show in Newcastle and based on how much of an impact Cattle have had up here, we should be in for a real kick in the face.

Lovely Wife
Since 2011 Lovely Wife have been making a real name for themselves with their unique sound of infectious heavy bass grooves and relentless energy. These guys make most bands look lazy.

DJ Callan
As per GNAW tradition, our main man DJ Callan will be spinning tunes all night. A lot of you will know Callan by now but for those of you who don't, he is without question the finest DJ on the underground scene – a master of atmosphere.
