Never miss another 'The Wildhearts' show
The Wildhearts + Hey! Hello! + Von Hertzen Brothers
The Wildhearts are heading out on tour in April 2014, with support provided by Classic Rock Award nominees – and another Ginger project - Hey! Hello! The tour will see Ginger reunited with his bandmates CJ and Ritch, and will welcome the return of Scott Sorry on bass.
Says Ginger: “The Wildhearts always seem to regroup when the timing is absolutely right for everyone. I absolutely cannot wait to get back onstage with the lads, and we’re all excited to be playing with our brother Scott again.”
Scott Sorry: “After a four year long break, I am excited as hell to hit the road again with The Wildhearts. April couldn’t come soon enough.”
Support band Hey! Hello! (Victoria Liedtke and Ginger Wildheart) scored a number 1 album with their debut self titled release in July, which was followed by a nomination in the “Best New Band” category at this years Classic Rock Awards. This will mark the band’s very first tour.
“Ginger and I are so excited to finally be able to take Hey! Hello! on tour,” says Victoria Liedtke. “It’s been a long time coming!”
This event takes place at O2 Academy Newcastle, which has achieved Bronze Status for disabled access from Attitude Is Everything.
For almost 2 decades The Wildhearts have remained at the forefront of the British rock scene and their legendary live shows have been second to none. The Wildhearts, with the line up of Ginger and CJ on guitars and vocals, bassist Jon Poole and Ritch Battersby on drums, continue to hold firm with their motto "Louder than llfe and better than everything else."

They may sound like something from a dark fairytale, but the Von Hertzen Brothers are actually Finland's No. 1 rock band – three siblings (vocalist/guitarist Mikko, guitarist/ vocalist Kie & bassist/vocalist Jonne) with a formidable live reputation plus the collective ability to produce challenging music that never comes across as specialist or niche.
