Simon Taylor and the Sundowners will be releasing their new EP New York City Girl at The Mining Institute in Newcastle upon Tyne on Friday 4th December.
It is the follow-up to the band's well-received 2014 single Hot Love and offers four new tracks of retro jazz and continental funk, again featuring the sublime vocals of Ivel Goverda.
Support comes from Newcastle 4-piece Alter Cosmos, who mix elements of Catalan folk, trip hop and acid jazz and Lesley Roley, a singer-songwriter who has enthralled audiences from the Royal Albert Hall to Nashville with her unique mix of mix of folk, blues and pop.
