Never miss another 'Kasabian' show
Kasabian + The Maccabees
Without doubt 2014 belongs to Kasabian. They headlined Glastonbury 2014, and the week before they played a historic hometown show in front of 50,000 people at Victoria Park in Leicester. Now they announce a huge autumn tour for November/December.
Kasabian are in the form of their lives both on stage and on record. The acclaimed new album ‘48:13’ (their fourth consecutive Number 1 album) received fantastic reviews across the board and in the live arena they have received some of the best reviews of their career.
Written and produced by Sergio Pizzorno, ’48:13’ finds Kasabian in sparkling form on their 5th album recorded mostly in Leicester at the Sergery. Make no mistake, 2014 is the year of Kasabian.
Kasabian confirm special guests the Maccabees supporting on all dates.
This event takes place at Metro Radio Arena, which has achieved Bronze Status for disabled access from Attitude Is Everything.
A glorious synth-tinged melting pot of indie rock that will caress the eardrums. Formed in Leicester while still at school, they took their name from Linda Kasabian, one of the members of the Charles Manson cult. Their electronica-indie rock fusion akin to Primal Scream combined with the rough vocal style and unrepentant Mancunian swagger of Oasis has firmly established them as more than just a flash in the pan and injected a large dose of energy back into the Brit-rock scene.

Brighton's Maccabees have gone from strength to strength since the release of their debut top 30 album 'Colour It In' in 2007. Their brand of slightly off-kilter British art-rock has seen them compared to the likes of Wire, Blur, Magazine, Futureheads and XTC. Their frenzied live shows have generated stage invasions and riotous crowds buzzing to the sounds of already classic anthems like 'About Your Dress' and 'Toothpaste Kisses'. After 14 years together, in 2016 the guys announced they had decided to call it a day, and will play their farewell shows in 2017.
