Live And Lyrical

The Corn Exchange is providing a platform for local performers to share their talents in front of an audience, over a drink. We welcome instrumentalists, singers, covers artists, singer songwriters, comedians and spoken word performers who are all introduced by our compere. Performers are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so book now - letting us know whether you’re performing or just watching. All performers will get a free beer voucher to use at the bar that evening.

Live and Lyrical has become a really central part of the Corn Exchange calander reminding our staff and all the people who support the event that Newbury is full of talented, funny, tuneful people. Audience members will see 10 local acts and a 'featured act' who have been invited by the programmers to perform or return due to popular demand. We have a really loyal and really supportive audience; you don't need to be an experienced performer but we hope that joining in with Live and Lyrical might enable you to become one!
