Inspired by Sinatra’s legendary collaboration with the Hollywood String Quartet and produced by drummer Matt Skelton, Close To You features a unique collective of handpicked musicians chosen for their sound and empathy for this extraordinary music.
Matt has built an enviable wealth of experience performing with the Halle, Philharmonia, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, City of Birmingham Symphony, BBC and RTE Concert Orchestras, as well as the BBC Big Band and Syd Lawrence Orchestra, and, in 2016, singing at the prestigious BBC Proms with the John Wilson Orchestra in a tribute to Gershwin.
